Who is ready for a great day in the Morton City Park?! Our Morton July 4th Celebration has been a tradition for many years and we are looking forward to celebrating Independence Day with you!

There are always so many great activities and things to do at the Morton, MN 4th of July Celebration!

Firecracker Run

We are kicking 4th of July off with the Firecracker fun run/walk. You can signup the morning of at 8am. Thanks to Underdog Crossfit for organizing the Firecracker Run. The route is reminiscent to our last Firecracker Run, starting in Morton to Birch Coulee Battlefield.

Parade

The Parade will be starting at 11am. If you'd like to join in the parade fun with a float, there is no need to pre-register! Line up starts at 10:30 and it's first come, first served.

Festivities in the Park

There are multiple vendors including many food trucks that will be in the Morton City Park the day of the celebration starting at 11:00 AM.

Need to have the kiddos burn off some of that candy from the parade? Purchase a $10 wristband and the kids can play on the five inflatables and ride on the kiddy train from noon to 7pm!

This year we are excited to have a volleyball tournament in the park starting at noon!

This year there will also bee a beer garden in the park!

Senior Center Luncheon

The Senior Center will have a luncheon up on Main Street.

Kids Pedal Pull

Sign up for the Pedal Pull. They begin at 5:00pm.

Morton Fire Department Pork Chop Feed

As always, the Morton Fire Department will be hosting their pork chop feed starting at 4 until they run out. Come out to the Blue Shelter in the Morton City Park. Enjoy the meal at the City Park or order it to go. Calendar raffle tickets are available as another way to support the fire department.

Veterans Roundtable

Come to the museum for the Veterans Roundtable from 12:00 to 2:00pm.

Raffle

Get your $10 tickets for the 4th of July raffle. Join in on the raffle for a chance to win up to a $1,000.
