Batter Up, Morton! Youth Baseball Heats Up the Weekend with Tournaments and Talent
Morton is the place to be for baseball fans the weekend of June 28–29, as the local Cardinals take the field in two action-packed youth baseball events sure to bring out the community spirit — and the competition.
🥎 Saturday, June 28 — Wood Bat Tournament
Get ready for some good old-fashioned baseball with a twist — it’s wood bats only! This classic style of play returns for a full day of games, starting bright and early at 8:30 a.m. and running until the final pitch at 6:30 p.m. Come cheer on local youth as they bring their grit and skills to the diamond in this nostalgic and exciting tournament.
🥎 Sunday, June 29 — MSF Qualifier
The action doesn’t stop there! Sunday features a Minnesota Sports Federation (MSF) Qualifier, giving teams a chance to earn their place in statewide competition. It’s a full schedule once again from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with Morton’s very own Cardinals ready to defend their home turf.
